Chez Reavie Career Highlights
Chez Reavie attended Arizona State University from 2000-2004 where he had 22 top-ten finishes. While attending ASU, Reavie won the 2001 U.S. Amateur Public Links at Pecan Valley Golf Course. After graduating, Reavie turned pro and joined the Nationwide Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) in 2005. It was on the Nationwide Tour where he earned his first professional win at the 2007 Knoxville Open and earned his PGA Tour card for the 2008 season.
In his rookie year, Reavie won his first PGA Tour title at the 2008 RBC Canadian Open by three strokes over Billy Mayfair. The victory gave Reavie a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour. After a successful rookie season, Reavie went more than a decade before winning again on the PGA Tour.
After knee surgery in 2010, Reavie played the 2011 season on a medical extension but didn’t earn enough to retain his card. He received conditional status by making the cut at the Memorial Tournament. Reavie made the most of his status and played on the weekend in 15 events in 2011, he played in the FedEx Cup playoffs, and earned enough to retain his card for 2012.
After the 2012 season where he finished 135th in money, Reavie headed back to Q-School and earned his card for 2013, but did not play due to wrist surgery. He won again in 2015 on the Web.com Tour’s Small Business Connection Championship while on medical extension.
In 2018 it appeared Reavie would win on the PGA Tour again after leading most of the final round at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. With many fans pulling for him thanks to his ASU connection, Reavie ultimately lost to Gary Woodland in a playoff. The following season, he ended an 11-year drought with a win at the 2019 Travelers Championship.
Chez Reavie’s most recent win came at the 2022 Barracuda Championship. In a modified Stableford format event, Reavie won by one point over Alex Noren.
His career earnings total $20,138,398 and Reavie’s best finish in a major to date is a tie for third place at the 2019 U.S. Open.
