The Rapid City Executive Golf Course is a quick, enjoyable break from playing long 18-hole golf courses. This nine-hole, par-29 course is 1,323 total yards, but it offers a well-maintained, scenic round that golfers of all abilities will enjoy.All but two of the holes are par-3 and none of those are over 130 yards from the back tee. Play from the front tees and those seven holes are 100 yards or shorter. The 289-yard second hole and 293-yard sixth hole are each par-4 holes and offer golfers a chance to hit more than a short iron off the tee. The Executive Golf Course is a good choice for kids and beginners who are learning more about their swing than worrying about distance. Experienced golfers can use the course to work on their chipping and putting games. The greens are in excellent condition and are a great choice for putting practice. Despite the short length, the course does offer some challenges. Mature trees border most of the holes and you play alongside Rapid Creek on two holes. The staff is very friendly and happy to help you along your way.
