Hart Ranch was a fun course to play. I played in July of '12 right after a tournament just had finished up. I was the only one playing on this afternoon. The course was very dry in the fairways and the greens were dry as well. They played very fast in these drought conditions.
Plenty of wildlife on the course such as chipmunks, deer, rabbits, turkeys, and other birds.
The course offered many signs for yardage, nice restrooms and water coolers were located on the course too. The pro shop and clubhouse are very nice and the service is great. I was able to receive a twilight rate of $47 which is what this course is worth, not the regular rate of $61 as I was quoted.
The course plays mostly straight with many trees and some water hazards come in play.
They have GPS in the carts but not your typical GPS you see at other courses. I would suggest an upgrade to a newer style that you can read from inside the cart, not from the back of the cart as these were. Not very user friendly.
I'd play Hart Ranch again if I was in the area but only if I couldn't get on at Red Rock.
