Great course for all levels of play. Friendly staff. Good practice area. Price is a little high and wish local rates were a little better. Conditions have been much better since being bought, but not happy about the development on the 18th.... also wish they would re grade the fairways. It can get very bumpy out there....
Fun course, one of my favorite in the area. Front 9 is basic layout, back 9 is unique and makes you think about club selection. Staff is friendly and laid back. Course is in acceptable condition - can't drive full speed with cart in most fairways because it's so bumpy that it'll rattle you out of the cart. Greens are smooth and slow. If you are looking for a vacation destination course like Kiawah and want to be brown-nosed, go elsewhere. If you're just looking for a fun round of golf, to drink some beer and swing the sticks (and still make it downtown for dinner), this is the place to go. Also, if you're not used to windy courses this could be a fun place to try.
This is a really fun course with nice greens and beautiful views.
Not worth the money at all. Water coolers empty on course. Had a group of 6 playing in front of my group (a twosome) had to call proshop to have a ranger come out, but never did. Poor service go to Kiawah they treat you like a king not like trash.
I've played worse courses for $52. This is a nice layout and above-average conditions. Very flat and open next to the shoreline and few trees to worry about. The 17th hole, 144 yd par 3, is cute with an island green. The greens were very good, readable, quick, and no tricks. Nice, lush fairways.
