Course has a good layout. Maybe not the best in Mt. P, but still very fun. Super pretty and scenic. Staff is awesome. Probably stays in the best shape consistently all year relative to seasons. Price is decent, but if you're local and do the VIP pass, there is no better deal.

A decent challenging layout, but conditions, especially the greens, were disappointing. The greens were ridiculously grainy and spongy, like they hadn't been aerated and top dressed in a long time. Range is .7 miles from bag drop; it not only was very inconvenient, it wasn't very good. Clubhouse grill was very small. And to top things off, my wallet was stolen out of my bag on the course by a guy we had seen hanging around the practice area before our round. (He later was riding around the course in his own cart. He visited all 5 of our groups and was seen poking around my bag, and several others in different groups, claiming he was looking for a lost headcover in some instances and a lost club in others.) I realized when I finished my round my wallet had been removed from my bag's side pocket where I keep it during play, and, sure enough, one of my credit cards was used multiple times in Mount Pleasant the next day (I was at Kiawah). (Yeah, I know, I should have canceled it sooner.) I reported the incident to the Pro Shop, thinking they might want to be on the look out for the guy--I provided a thorough description--but they seemed generally unconcerned. In sum, the golf course is a nice layout, conditions were disappointing, facilities were disappointing, and the experience a complete bummer. I won't go back, nor will any of the 19 others in my group.

Friendly staff. Course in good shape even in mid-summer. Greens likewise. Good value for $50. We appreciated the alligator on #4 letting us play through!
