There is some sick stuff going on up at Ely Park Golf Course. Although I’m not an avid golfer myself, I am friends with a handful of the employees at the course. Recently one of these friends of mine was forced to resign after Brian Locke a Pro Shop employee sent explicit photos of her to another member of the staff. Not only did he send these photos, he’s also made comments about her to other members of the staff that are to put it mildly, disgusting. The employee who received these photos from Brian made the other members of the staff aware of these photos and let them know to be careful around him. This employee was then fired by the General Manager Brad Smith who called these acts “locker room banter” and that everything was fine unless he was to actually act on his comments. These are my friends and I know firsthand that the staff at Ely Park are uncomfortable working with Brian Locke. And if that’s not already sick enough, The General Manager Brad Smith is protecting him. These two men are absolutely disgusting.

I usually play this course because it is relatively inexpensive and close to home. Most of the holes are playable with just a driver and wedge. Hole 7 is just evil, try and hit it short of the green because if you go long you'll have a challenge on the green.
