Updated---played on Octber 3, 2012----still just as excellent of a value as I remember. Worth teh drive and cost to play. A must see.

If you're in this area, you would be crazy to miss this deal. Right now (fall) rates are only $23 and the course is comparable to Rock Barn where the Champtions Tour plays---it cost $90 to go there! Smooth greens, definte fairway versus rough cut, simple layout to make it not too challenging.

There are only 2 negatives I can say--it plays a little long so you may have to move up a tee box and the trash can in the bathroom needed to be empited. Seriously---that's the only negatives! The course itself couldn't have been in better shape.

This is coming from shooting a 125 and still enjoying the course. If you're around this place, make it a must stop to go play.

I played this course on Nov 22. The course was in amazing shape...and the mid week Sr price of $25 was an amazing bargain for a course of this caliber. We played from the whites which were a "touch" over 6,400 yards. I am not a long hitter..but had no trouble with the yardage. THe fairways were very fair...wide enough to allow the ball to drift a little right or left...but tight enough that if you spray it...you pay the price. There was also a lot of water on the course...and a couple of the par 3s were A l l l l l carry!! Again..they were fair. The greens were in great shape and rolled well. The last hole was a real treat....395 yards (from the whites) with a second (or third) shot over the water. You have to put your drive w a a a y out there to have a reasonable second shot. You don;t...and you need to lay up. The snack bar/grill was open..and we had the opportunity to enjoy a beverage on the deck afterwards. This is an incredible course at an incredible price...and worth a drive!!
