Ok place....just not worth the price. If they would cut the fees down by $10 it would be a pretty good value, but as is it's not worth playing. The fairways are well maintained, but right now the greens are shot because of the heat and no watering....which is like most courses.

They advertise hole 14 "young's revenge" as the hardest par 5 in the world...what a joke. There a small pond at 235 yards from the tee that you can't see, so you have to take a wood shot. Then it's only 240 more yards to the flag, uphill. Wow, really hard. Hit another wood, then you have about a standard 60 yard pitch. How on Earth is this the hardest par 5 in the world? What a joke.

And by the way, there are no hole markers, so you don't know if you're at the #1 tee, or 15, or 9....there are no signs...I had to ask 3 times to other golfers where I go next. You don't know the yardage...nothing.

The maintenance really is pretty good...but the drive down to get to the clubhouse should tell you something..don't expect much. It's like you're driving through the slums.

Once again...okay course overall, but it's worth only $15 during the week and $25 on weekends. Not the $40 that they charge. Don't go here if you can find somewhere else to play.

Course fun to play. Signature hole is a joke. Layup, layup, then a shot to the pin. It is a poorly designed hole, especially for a par 5. Scenery is nice and greens are generally good. Starting to get pricey for the value. The staff could stand to smile every now and then. ;-)

Nice course. Clean, well cut. Everything clearly marked. Hazards in good shape. Fairway, rough, and greens all cut as they should be. A slight mixture of grasses on the greens makes them a little more difficult to negotiate. Some minor drainage issues on a couple of fairways. The was busy, but the rate of play was good. Overall a good value for the money. Great scenery.

I simply loved this course when I lived in Charlotte. If you can score there you can score anywhere....
