The experience I had at Robert A. Black is what cemented my love for golf. I booked my tee time on the way into town via their web site and showed up about 20 minutes early to make sure I was warmed up and ready. I'd only been playing for 2 weeks at the time and the staff there made sure I knew where everything was and how to proceed on the course. I was matched up with a pair of ladies from Chicago that had played the course several times themselves and they were an absolute blast to play with. The course itself is well laid-out, well maintained and plays beautifully. I made sure to spend a few bucks in the clubhouse on souvenirs and such to remember this experience. I'd go every day if I lived in Chi-town.
