Great little course. Bunkers are horrible and if it has rained, then your feet will get wet (I only walk it). That being said, well maintained course, pleasant staff. wider fairways then you would expect. nicely priced for the experience.
Contrary to what Big Jim said, Marquette Park is still a great value. The reason they are charging more is because all of the CPD courses are under new management and the upkeep on them is infinitely better than they've been in the last few years. I'll gladly pay an extra dollar or two for a much better golf experience. CPD courses are still the best value golf in the area and I definitely will continue to support them! Also, if you want cheap rounds, you can find $8 tee times through EZLinks online too!
The Advantage Card want up $5 more then 2009 which I could live with. But, as of April 1, 2010 golf rate with card went up from $9 to $11 and $13 weekends. The only thing my retirement stay the same. Well now I'll have to cutoff my weekend play. I use to play over 50 time a year, now I may play less then 40. I think other golfer will be doing the same. Marquette Park will loss money. I can play Palos Hills Golf Course Weekdays/Weekends $15.00 seniors discount $12 (start at 60). It's in great condition Marquette needs lots of work there still no sand it traps.
