A fun, challenging little course with friendly staff. Plus you can't beat the price! The owner is putting a lot of work into this place and we look forward to coming back often to see the progress.

Gateway Golf Course has been closed for almost 2 years. When closed it was in trouble and apparently poorly maintained.

Operator, PGA Golf Professional and Golf Course Superintendent Paul Lavin is doing a huge and incredible job restoring a golf course that was litteraly left to go to seed 2 years ago.

He should be recognized for his efforts as well as the contributions to golf in Skagit County. Gateway GC presents a user friendly and affordable golf opportunity to the citizens of Sedro Wooley and visitors to the area.

If you get a chance to stop in and play 9 holes you are going to have a chance to see an incredible transformation underway. The golf course rising from the ashes of closure and is getting better everyday.

What was covered with grass of over 2 feet tall less than a year ago this June is slowly but surely turning into a golf course again. It is a wonderful thing to watch and be part of.

Paul maintains the course with a number of dedicated volunteers. Call or email the Gateway GC for a time to visit Gateway and look into what's going on in Sedro Wooley.
