I truly cannot believe how much they charge to play this course, I only played on a discount I got from a gas station. I would never pay full price here. The clubhouse and restaurant is a dump, I actually sat and ate after a round and the sandwhich looked like a 5yr old made it and the fries looked half eaten. Maintenance on the course is lacking for sure, how hard is it to pressure wash a sign to clean it? This place has gone way down hill with new management. Owner doing awful job, can't believe this is still open.

BE AWARE! After golfing at H.L.G.C for years, the new management has almost doubled the fees from a couple of years ago(50 bucks/weekday), done away with small amenities (like beverage carts, marshals, etc...), and do as little maintenance on the course as possible. Every tee box was trashed with butts, tees, divots, garbage, and the fairways were likewise. Also home to the NASTIEST bathroom in Kitsap County. Management refused to address or even comment on concerns, (customer service?) Beautiful layout, but for the money out here, go play Gold Mountain, McCormick Woods, or Trophy Lake. You'll spend less and enjoy your experience!
