Excellent course! Maybe not worth a four hour drive to get
there, but easily worth an hour and a half drive. One of the most expensive courses in the area ($110 peak rate) but for good reason. Excellent conditions, fun layout, and they treat you like people (instead of like cattle). Only complaints are no drinking water available on the course and no carts allowed near the practice area and driving range.

The course has been affected by too much rain so it has been cart path only for several days. The course itself is meticulously maintained. Most T times have been sold out each day for the past several days/weeks. The staff has been very good, helpful and vigilant in keeping players starting on time and moving at reasonable speed. I would highly recommend this course; reserve early is my recommendation.

Came out to the course yesterday for the first time in about 4 or 5 years since I had a bad experience previously. They must have a new pro or something because it was a complete 180. Outside staff was helpful and cordial, the pro shop staff was all smiles and polite, even the starter wasn't too bad. Course itself in in great shape for this time of the year in the DC area where courses suffer a lot because of the heat. Tees were perfect, fairways were great, and the greens were very good considering they said they aerated only 8 days beforehand. I was very impressed with the course and staff this time as opposed to last time. Only big difference I saw that I didn't like was about 1/3 of the old sodded faced bunkers have been grown in to normal faces. I asked the pro shop guy why and he said simply the cost to keep the sodded ones is too high right now, but they still have the majority of them and have plans to reface all the bunkers in the next 2 years.

Played here for the first time last week and was extremely impressed. We had heard tremendous things about the course and decided to check it out on a Saturday. Was in by far the best shape of any course I have played this year.

I was a little hesitant to pay $105, but upon playing yesterday I am sold! The course is in fantastic shape early in the season. Staff was great about getting up checked in, to the range, and out on the course quickly. The third hole maybe the prettiest in the state, breathtaking tee shot.

Went out and played with my husband this morning. Beautiful course, very well kept. Marshall was out helping move everyone along. The two assistant professionals in were very funny with each other and helpful.

I have read a lot about this course and decided to finally pay the price to play it this weekend. I loved the layout and staff. I was greeted by a guy in a red vest and bowtie, little over the top, but he was friendly. Overall the staff was great, very accomodating and talkative. The range was cool with a practice pitching area and bunker. The course was great, and conditions were surpsingly good after the summer we have had. While I do not play a lot of golf for over $100, most of the courses I get to play were burnt out this summer. It looks like most of Raspberry's grass survived just fine. I saw only a few spots that were recovering from being burnt out, fairways and greens were awesome. I also had lunch in their grill after finishing my round. The burger was great, get Brians barbeque burger special. It may not be healthy, but tasted great. I look forward to my next trip out to Raspberry.

Very pretty scenery with the mountains in the background, only a few sporadic houses on the course, and none are in play. Greens were in great shape and rolled quicker than any course ive played this summer, fairways a little burnt in some spots but that is to be expected with the heat. Loved the GPS in the carts and the staff was great from the start to the end. Will definately be back shortly.

Played end of August, 2010 and was shocked at the terrible conditions. Six years ago this was one of the premier, destination courses. What happened? I know the summer was tough but $105 for these conditions is inexcusible. Pay less and play Musket Ridge or pay another $20 and play Bulle Rock. Greens were burnt, tee boxes were terrible. Awful.
