I recently just took a group of my employees up there as part of a bonus. The facilities look nice our tee time was at 10am, so not super early well no snack bar or grill open. There was a little cooler in the at the end of the pro shop counter with almost nothing to drink but a few cans of root beer and sprite. Made the turn around noon to find a sign saying the snack bar was open....wrong!! Also one of my employees needed some more golf balls....too bad!!! Not one sleeve of golf balls for sale or used balls even. That would have been nice to know before make the 40 min trip and there are no stores near there to even go to. Rather upset I called Mr. Maughn the manager to express my less that satisfactory experience. After giving me a list of reasons as to why its not their fault they don't have refreshments or golf balls...told him that they should let people know when booking their tee time the present situation and to that the response of "that's a good idea".....what a joke the course is nice however unless they get new management you won't find me there anytime soon. Being a former Pro Shop manager and scratch golfer their operations are unacceptable!
