From the moment you pull up, the experience is first class. The attendant took my golf bag to take to my cart and car keys to valet park my car. The club offers free tees and ball markers if you are in need. On the driving range there are Pro V1 golf balls to hit, more free tees and range finders to get accurate yardage. There is also an attendant on duty at the driving range to assist with taking you bag to a spot and cleans your clubs when you are done hitting balls. At the end of your round, players are handed scented wet hand towels to cool you down. I walked upstairs, my car was ready with my golf clubs in my trunk and off I went.

The golf course was in great shape with more sand traps than I remember from the last time I played there four years ago. Because the club is semi-private, it was not busy and we finished our round within 4 hours. You can see the improvements to the course and the money was well spent.

I am a member of a private golf course and I was envious of the level of pamper the Lakes of Castle Hills provides to its visitors. I look forward to the next time I play there.

You never know what to expect at Castle Hills. In September the greens were long, patchy and mostly dead (much as they were last fall/winter).

In the spring and early summer they were great. When the greens are alive and maintained, this is a great course, but late summer they were an absolute mess - probably the worst condition of any course I played this year (and I played a *lot* of different public courses this year).

When in good condition, this course is challenging, pretty and the staff is nice. I can be a really great place to play, but it's pretty expensive and you just can't be sure what you're going to get.

I went back in November and again recently in December. The greens were fixed and in good shape again.

Nice course, never real crowded so pace is good. There is enough character to the course to be a challenge each time its played. Bit pricey for conditions but fun to play. Could get very similar experience for much less at nearby courses. Staff is great a very helpful.

Worst condition of all the golf courses I have played this year. And whomever decided that the old number 10 was a better starting hole is brain dead!
