Not for the faint of heart. As a rookie player avg. 95+ this course will really get under your skin. I have yet to break 100 here. It is my nemesis course. In setting my golf goals every year, I add this course to the list. You can watch golf on TV and say .. man I should be able to do that .. ummm play here for a reality check on your game ..haha

On an average day I will shoot 80-85. First time to play here and shot a 96. It is a very difficult course and there is zero room for error. If you want to challenge your game, play here, but if you are looking to get out and have a fun day of golf with a higher chance of a good score, go to another course. Service was friendly, cart girl came around about every 4 holes, but there was only 1 and the course was not that busy. We teed off around noon. Until my game improves more, will probably hold off playing this course again as the price is steep.

This is a good, challenging, expensive public course-never less than $50 pre-tax.
The golf course is challenging. Bring your "A" game or a lot of extra balls. Tight fairways, target shots to the green, lots of hazards and elevation changes. Challenging greens with surface elevation changes.
If what you want is to play golf and do not expect any service, Sky Creek is the course for you. Level of service is below average. Paying $60-$90 at a golf course you would think they would offer to load clubs on the cart, clean clubs after the round, the beverage cart girls to make more than one pass. Balls at the driving range are included, but they run out frequently and you must call the pro shop to have them bring more. The employees at the pro shop are uninterested, and usually not at the desk.
There is no locker room or bathroom large enough to change in. The service and food at the bar /grill is average. Maybe because all the employees are 18+, with no interest in customer service. The teenagers are too occupied with their own conversations to provide service - the check arrives fast. The manager is no where to be seen. Explains the attitude from the staff. They are definitely short staffed for the size of the course and the number of golfers playing.
This course hosts a lot of weekend tournaments. Lots of the local high school golf team players. They do not care about the week day or weekend golfer.
The memberships are reasonably priced, understanding that there is no service.
The greens are suffering from lack of courtesy to repair ball marks. The ground crew seem to be ignoring the greens. Common to encounter the ground crew in the middle of your shot. The fairways are in great shape. The bunkers do not drain water well and will become hard packed. The tee boxes hold up well. Tight course with narrow fairways and many times the rough is someones yard or house.
They have a free GPS app that is sketchy, jumps often and freezes alot, giving pretty inaccurate distances.
Surprising the difficulty many courses are having in this economy, this course does not seem to care.
Given its location in an upscale neighborhood & its price point, the service is so poor and the course not in better condition.
