My friends got a tee time at this course and after seeing some of the reviews I almost bailed. I am glad I didn't. This course is nice and in decent shape and we played for only $20. The pace of play was good, we finished in 3.5 hours and that was on a Saturday afternoon. The fairways are nice and the greens were better then Sherrill Park where we usually play. We will play this course again.
One word...Horendous! No wonder I found a rate on golfnow.com for $19.95...on a Saturday. If it had been one dollar more I would have been even madder. Ah, where to begin, I guess the pro shop if thats what you want to call it. They had no range balls because the machine to retrieve them was broken, and they needed to get them by hand, so they were waiting for no one to be hitting so they could fetch 'em. They had no logo balls for sale, which made me mad, none for my collection. They had like 3 shirts hanging up for sale...it looked like a going out of business store. The course was horrible, fairways made of four different kinds of grass, tee boxes were as thick as the rough mostly, and the greens were slow, bumpy and a mix of dirt and grass. Its very clear that the recession hit them hard so they had to cut way back. It literally looks like its going out of business. The one good part was the very cute latina milf on the beverage cart, we must have seen her 8-10 times, so if you were thristy, you were set. DO not play this course is the bottom line.
