I have been in Canadian working as a consultant in the oilfield. Canadian is a very nice small town. I had heard great thing about the golf course. I decided to try it out one afternoon. I was very pleased with the price and the carts are excellent. There were only a few cars in the parking lot so I was anticipating I would not be slowed down much. I was very wrong. I played the first two holes and then ran into a group of 5. That is about how many cars were in the parking lot. I waited patiently on the 3rd tee and played my first shot when they reached the green. I again waited patiently while they finished up their putts. I figured they would let me play through at the next tee. Again I was wrong. They just went on about their round. This continued for a couple more holes and I just gave up. Took the cart back to the clubhouse turned in the key. The lady at the counter said I sure play fast. I just said not very fast for 5 holes. She looked puzzled and I walked out. As for the course it is a nice layout from what I saw. The greens were in very rough shape. No consistency to them at all. As I drove out I noticed that the green right by the parking lot had huge dead areas on it. I do not suggest playing here if you expect to play a game with common golf etiquette. They certainly did not make a good impression on me.
