I just played this course in March 2012. It was magnificent! They were preparing for the upcoming PGA Tournament and the course was in great condition. Greens were fast and the fairways were in very good shape. Rates were good and the staff was extremely friendly. Overall the best course that I have ever played! If you go to Hilton Head, make this course one of your top playing destinations.
This is an excellent course. Very tough and well maintained. One of the top 10 courses I have ever played. I played memorial day weekend and it was very dry and the greens were rock hard making sticking the ball on the greens almost impossible. Well worth the $145 it cost to play for the afternoon rate. Great to play a course you can watch the pros play on TV. Much better course then PGA National.
Harbour town is a great golf course. It is my favorite PGA tour course that i have played. If you can keep the ball in play it is surprisingly easy. The 17th and 18th are 2 great golf holes.
