Played the course in the early spring so grass was still coming on. Extremely helpful staff -- really went out of their way to welcome us. For the first rounds of the year, course was all the challenge I needed. Woods are the main hazard so you must not wander off (also snakes in the woods in the summer). Check score card for water hazards. Difficult to see from tee and fairway on some holes. Greens are tricky putting -- can be very fast. If you are a hunter, check out Moree's hunting preserve. We trained our dogs there and then competed at the state park.
