The pro shop staff was friendly and provided a yardage book for first time visitors, which was a necessity. The first impression is very positive and the driving range and practice areas were very nice and more than adequate. What we were not told was that the greens had just been aerated and sanded. It would have been nice if someone had mentioned this in the pro shop before the round.

The course was in good shape, other than the greens, and it presents a challenge. The natural beauty of the marshland and the wildlife add to the experience. A yardage book is required, even with GPS, as several holes (7 and 16) are "target golf" holes which require playing a couple of times to know how to manage that part of the course.

This would be a course to put on your list to play but not at the top of that list.
