Under new ownership and management. If you have not been here in awhile it's time to go back. Course was greener than I have ever seen, new restaurant, and Proshop with outdoor snack bar.

I've been playing this course for over ten years, and seen a lot of changes happen, especially in the last three years specifically. I love the staff. I love that they're actually fair minded, down to earth, people, and remember you when you walk in the door.

And as far as the treatment of their players, I've noticed that it is mainly the golfers lacking in etiquette or those who completely disregard the course's common rules, that find themselves being asked to leave or at the very least to take their bags off the tees & greens or to turn off their music (why is this a thing?! We're on a golf course!). I myself have corrected newcomers, in keeping pace, and general golf etiquette, as a lot of beginners like to flock to this golf course for the wide fairways and reasonable prices.

Other than the occasional rough patch that is common with a lack of decent rain over the course of a season, I have no complaints about this course's fairways or greens. The grounds are wide, and the views are great. Its an old school kind of course that requires every club in your bag.

You're getting your moneys worth.

Agree with the below posters, I would not play this golf course again. Too expensive for 9 holes and not friendly staff. The course was in poor shape, with barren fairways and tee boxes.

Worst golf course ever. If there wasn't crab grass in the fairway there would be no grass at all. Very unfriendly people running this course. They act like your a two year old and it's their job to yell at you. The foul mouth Superintendent is definitely a head case and obviously doesn't have a clue of what he's doing. You couldn't pay me to play there again.

Staff inside was incredibly friendly and helpful. Greens are in great shape. Fairways are slightly patchy, but are being seeded,as evidenced by the grass shoots you can see here and there. Tees are mostly nice, a few could use some more seed. Beautiful views and scenery, being out in the middle of (almost) no where. Great value for the cost, and overall worth the ride. I'm not sure what golf course the other reviewer played, but it sure wasn't the same course that I played

Absolutely the worst public course I ever played. The staff and superintendent were incredibly rude. I wanted to play 18 after 2:00 and was told its too late, ok even though its light until 7:30pm. On hole 6 I was told take your time their is no one out, on 8 it was hurry up. On 9 the we're watering the tee boxes and actually told the people back on 7 they needed to hurry up. If you like rude and inconsistent people coupled with bare fairways due to lack of water than this place is for you. You couldn't pay me to play this again.

I played the front 9 at Melody Hill this afternoon. I got there at 2:30 looking to play 18 but the lady told me I could only play 9 because the owner doesn't allow anyone to tee off the last 9 after 3:30. The course layout on the score card looks like a preschool drawing - tough to figure out. Ball washers had week old sludge in them. The fairways were full of bare patches and just rock hard in general. 5-6-7 were pretty holes with the pond and the fall foliage. The management obviously doesn't care about keeping this place up, and its too bad.
