The course has improved greatly since last year and especially the year before. Looks like the grounds crew has been working overtime. Greenside bunkers have sand in them now and were nice to play out of. Greens are in much better shape now with the exception of #6 which is closed due to condition. Greens were recently plugged and sanded but still in fine shape. I commend the course superintendent and the crew for making the course enjoyable to play again!

Least favorite course in wb, area, mostly because of the horrible members. This course isn't nice enough or challenging enough to have snooty members controlling the course. Last time I was there my 4some was on the tee and there was a group of 8 waiting by pro shop, bags weren't even on their carts, we play hole one with their first group teeing off as we're on the green and we were finished putting by the time the were ready to hit their approach shots. Before we could get off the tee box on 2, the ranger shows up saying his members are complaining (not the group behind us, but the 2nd 4some in the group of 8 complained) so we jumped a head a couple holes and what do you know, they never caught up to us! This isn't the first time I've had issues with these members here. I'm a good golfer but a lot of my friends are just starting out and I like coaching them and letting them hit a couple extra shots here are there. We let people play through and very often they are rude even though we're doing the right thing by letting them go. Also the course is maintained pretty horribly. The bunkers are awful, and the other day my friends and I lost 4 balls just because the rough was so patchy. I understand if all the rough is tall but it was so patchy it looked like it hasn't been trimmed in days. Overall I don't recommend it here. Other courses in the area are cheaper, way nicer conditions, much friendlier staff. For instance blue ridge or Edgewood in the pines. And to all those members at muni, golf is supposed to be a game of patience and fun. If you want the course to yourself join a private club assholes! Or realize that your dumbass joined a public club meaning you play with the public... It's terrible I'm telling 70 year old men to grow up!

Love this course. Backdoored the hell out of a hooker at the turn. Cleveland steamer. Poor bunkers.

The course itself is great. Fits longer hitters for sure. Shorter hitters may need an extra shot or two on the par 5's. Major draw back from this place is the staff. Granted I was early so the guy at the desk held my group back one day. As we sat there for 15 minutes, not one single person tee'd off. Eventually he let us start sooner with a snob attitude. Got through 3 holes and ranger pushed us with a 2some in front of us. Well I'm not a pro but these other two guys were. Ruined the time for all 4 of us. Another time that same ranger pushed a 3 some I was in. There was 4 4somes behind us that were backing up but we still had a full hole on them. The ranger said lets pick up the pace. We questioned why and he said they were backed up at the start. Not our problem they over booked a time. Well we push so fast we got stuck beind 3 forsomes in a row. Took about 2 hours to complete 6 holes. When the ranger came by while we waiting all he said was "you played too fast". When asked if he was going to speed the groups up in front of us, he pushed the gas pedal on his cart and took off. Since these two times, I played there once with no problem. Doubt I'd go back though.

Played Aug 10, 2010. Course in great shape. Pro shop friendly, helpful. Carts in good shape (no GPS). Pace of play was good (9 holes in 1 1/2 hrs). 2 holes with blind tee shots - recommend a bell or flag system to help know when hole is clear for tee offs. Overall a very good value.
