Radnor Valley Country Club is a challenging and fun golf experience for all calibers of golfers where pristine course conditions prevail.

The original golf course opened for play in 1953. The designer was @$!*% Wilson and X. G. Hassenplug. In the mid 60’s the golf course was redesigned by Bill Gordon to accommodate the new highway known as the Blue Route (RT 476).

In 1997 Auldt Clark and Associates rebuilt all the putting greens to USGA specifications. Some holes were redesigned in the process making the course a very challenging par 70 with a great mix of long and short holes requiring that every club in the bag be used. Radnor Valley is a classic shot-makers golf course demanding accurate tee shots and well struck approach shots positioned below the hole in order to negotiate the sloping slick greens. Missing the green requires a deft short game touch to be rewarded with a rare “up and down”. Water comes into play on eight holes. Mastering various uneven lies is also a prerequisite for scoring at Radnor Valley.

Radnor Valley has hosted numerous prominent local PGA Section and Golf Association of Philadelphia tournaments. Some of the best local PGA Professionals and amateurs play in these events and the competitive course record is only 66 (4 under par) from the back tees. This is testament to the challenging nature of Radnor Valley.
