An awesome course for a novice although it seems to even present a challenge for some long time players. Wide and long fairways. A few bunkers and a creek that runs throughout the course. Different tee/green elevations as well as rolling fairways. A course requiring you to utilize all of the clubs. If you slice the ball as much as I do, it is slice friendly with a few holes consisting of tree lines along the left side of the tee and bottleneck open spaces to the fairway. Only 2 dog leg holes (1 dogleg left and 1 slightly right) There are 4 par 3 holes. Hole#9 par 3 96 yards has an elevated green. Some greens are formed tilted to the left and right. The pricing is affordable. I consistantly play here and possible won't play elsewhere until I actually feel confident in my own game even though I played other courses. This seems to be a great home course for me! I recommend it to anyone!
