course was in excellent condition. tree-lined fairways, place a necessity on straight drives. a nice mix of fairway bunkers, doglegs, and some water to test your shot placement ability. green circumferences are smaller, but smooth and reception to approach shots. some greens have crowned fronts, so short or off-target shots are deflected off the putting surface. a few very short 300yd par 4's, but with blind uphill or downhill(in 1 case) shots. par 3's were fair, although 2 side by side tee boxes on a precipice appeared further away than actuality. drawbacks mainly were several tee boxes next to each other; reaching no. 4 tee entails crossing a downhill slope of a back nine hole fairway, which is in range but blind to those on that tee- a little dangerous. several holes run near route 272 which is noisy with traffic, spoiling an otherwise quiet country club setting. Adjacent holes were separated enough with woods to prevent encroachment.staff was friendly, and so were members.a tough challenge for a short course. some pretty scenic layouts.
