Full disclosure - I'm a member - but this is a truly wonderful, classic American parkland course (hence... why I'm a member). Very walkable, which is rare in Western PA. Not a long course, but you have to hit it straight and think your way around. Conditions are always immaculate - we have the best greens in the region, even better than Olde Stonewall across the street, which is $150 a round. The staff is wonderful. FYI, if you hit from the members' tees, the slope is a very formidable 133. This is a private club with a tremendous focus on providing great golf. My only complaints are regarding the "amenities" ... the 150-yd driving range is a bit weak, the grill doesn't open til 11 a.m., and the locker room could use a slight rehab. But I'm here for the actual golf, which never disappoints, along with the wonderful service of our staff.
