I played this Seven Springs on 4/30/10 with 3 friends on our way out to Louisville. We were able to get the $32 spring rate which was a steal. The only thing we did not consider was given the altitude of Seven Springs the course was about 2 weeks behind most others in PA, even those in NEPA. Because of that the greens were still a little shaggy and bumpy. The fairways, tee boxes and bunkers were all in great shape. The layout was good with a nice variety of holes offering some awesome views of the surrounding Laurel Highlands. The most difficult thing about the course were the elevated greens imo. Most of them have fall offs on at least 2 sides so short siding yourself can lead to some major headaches. There's also a few blind tee shots that can course problems if you don't scout out the hole first. For some reason there's no course map on the scorecard. I feel this is a course that would be easier to play the second time around. The clubhouse and pro shop are really nice and the staff was polite.
