My wife and I played Big River on my way to Spokane. It has been several years since I last golfed in Umatilla. The course is in the best shape I've ever seen it in. They have changed and or added several tees. They have added some length to several holes making it a little more of a test than before. The greens weren't super fast maybe a 10/10.5 but they were in fantastic shape. They also have new sand in the bunkers.(That was NICE!!!) The Pro Shop has been remodeled and the outside painted. Overall I was impressed with all the changes. We will play it again on the way home. Oh and lastly they changed the tees for the women so the course now plays to a par 70 for both men and women. No more par 70M/74W(Smart move!!!)
