The most heralded of the three (soon to be four) outstanding tracks a the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort lives up to its reputation. The course looks as if it was discovered as is rather than built. Instead of the pot bunkers you find on the original 18, bunkers here are jagged and raw. Fairways are much tighter here as well.

This may be a golf resort but don't expect resort style golf. If you like lush flat fairways, carts, slow greens and warm weather go to Florida. If you want to have every aspect of your game tested, don't mind walking and are willing to battle fast, wind whipped greens the size of a suburban lot, bunkers that can swallow SUV's and the most spectacular landscapes you can immagine then this is the place for you.
