I have played Aqua Canyon many times over the years and generally like it. It is a medium length course with quite a bit of water. The designer, Duffy Martin, doesn't believe in sand traps so you won't find any. Wide fairways but plenty of places to lose your ball. The course is best played when the weather has provided quite a bit of rain and they don't seem to water the fairways very much and they can get rock hard in the summers. I played it today (June, 2012) and the greens were in excellent condition. The fairways are mowed too close for my taste and you don't have much cushion. They have a very nice, large clubhouse and the green fees are very reasonable. As a senior I think I paid about $25 for a green fee and half a cart. This course is generally not busy and there are 3 other courses designed by Duffy Martin in Guthrie.
