This course winds through some fairly hilly land. There are a host of blind shots, so if you are in a cart (and have time) drive ahead and look at where you are going. Nice views, and a lot of exciting shots. It's a popular place with a very reasonable green fee. It seems to be home to a lot of retiree leagues, so your mileage may vary in the earlier morning. It is a good deal tougher than most municipal courses (and definitely harder than its companion South Course). It have played it twice and like it more each time I play it. If you are not accurate, you will not score. The South Course is much more walkable but still interesting.

Well maintained, greens are nice, everyone very pleasant in the clubhouse and the simple restaurant. One of the best values for golf I have found this year.

nice course with scenic views & great price. difficulty level mid to high depending on which boxes you hit from (i.e. white-moderate to high, blue-will definitely challenge "scratch" golfers). large slick greens coupled with a ton of mature trees can make for a high score if you leave your game @ home. highly recommend this course @ least 1 time if you've never played there. still considered the toughest course in Springfield to most
