Played on 14 September 2015. Course is in good shape and spectacular scenery. Do not understand why they have to have so many trees in the middle of the fairway and in front of the greens. The greens were in good shape but lightning fast downhill. Be wary of the GPS in the carts. I found them to be 10 to 20 yards off (sometimes short, sometimes long) from my laser range finder. The pro shop personnel were not very friendly or helpful. You had to ask about everything; carts, driving range (short irons only), first tee. They provided no information at all about the course. There was a yardage book but you had to ask about that also. Some of the holes are pretty unique so info about them would have been nice. Overall I played pretty good. Couple of bad holes to start off with (see driving range with short irons only) but I had a couple of birdies and several pars. For a casino resort in New Mexico they could take a few lessons about customer service from Sandia, Twin Warriors or Isleta Casino golf courses. It would make a good golf course a more enjoyable experience.

I played this course in 2009 with a group of friends on a golfing vacation. We played all day with a break for lunck in the resturant on site. The course was challenging and the scenery was great. The price was high but not surprising for the location. The staff was average. The resturant was nice. We just had sandwitches to keep it light. I would play this course again but call ahead to check on conditions before playing.

I went out on this course on sept 13th. He gave me the price which I thought was a little high, and told him the internet price was much lower. He told me to leave and book it on the internet and come back(strike 1). We teed off and found out the bunkers had no sand, all the tee boxes were rounded and they had just airiated the greens. At the turn it started to rain so we waited over a hour for it to stop. Started to go out and was called back in. Proshop informed us that it would be 2 hours befor they let us out again. So I said I have to go and asked for a rain check. He just pointed at a sign that stated no raincheck given unless the course is close. I then informed him about the airriation of the green and he informed me if I didn't like I could have come back in after the first hole. I told him it was his job to informed me before we went out, not my job to inform him. I told him since I was going to resume play again, he said no, I asked why not answer: course is closed. I said "thank you give me my raincheck". He did. The course may be good but the staff left a bad taste in my mouth. I never use the raincheck, I would have to go back to to that.
