I know we had a lot of rain the past few days, but there was too much water on the fairways. Huge 1/2" deep puddles in the middle of the fairways. Worst part was that they had no power so payment had to be made in cash and there were no carts because they weren't charged. I understand that this is not their fault but a phone call or email or even a notice on the website would have been nice so everyone would have been prepared for these conditions and had cash with them!
This course has a great layout and some unique holes that borders both a neighborhood as well as the woods. On the front nine the course surrounds homes while the back nine would appear to be a completely different course. I liked the contrast with some neat holes, a few with water. The course could get a really high rating if the maintainance wasn't well below par. Intentional rough along the fairways is fine, but when the second cut is high grass doesn't provide the player with the courses intent. The price is only fair, but it does have logo balls, a plus. It's worth playing once just because the actual layout and course itself is very nice. Overall rating B-
