A hayfield muni with a private club dress code. They destroyed a number of the holes by shortening or redesigning them. 7 used to be a great risk/reward hole because of the length off the tee needed to carry the trees and bunkers on the left. Moving the tee box up killed the uniqueness of that hole. 18 was a masterpiece until they shortened that too. Beautiful elevated tee area sloping down to a pond forcing you to make choices and not just swing away. Now its short iron, utility wood and on in 2. The changes to the course, the private club dress code and the crowds make it a course of last resort.
