Visiting from Austin. This is a beautiful course. I've played on some of the finest in Chicago, Austin, Hawaii and this one still ranks high among those. Scenery is beautiful, very well maintained, club house is very nice. Hazards are numerous. Course requires shot shaping to the highest degree that I've experienced. I've never seen dog legs that turn to abruptly. The rough here eats balls like a monster. I could play this course for years before tiring of it. Downsides? Only nine holes, power lines do mar the beautiful of the final three holes. Other than that it's an outstanding value nestled among some of the nations most beautiful surroundings. If five stars is heaven, I give this course 4 and 1/2 stars. Scenery, maintenance and challenge rank highest for me. If you're within driving distance I highly recommend you play this course.

This is a 9 hole course. The conditions are always great but that prob has to do with how over priced it is for a nine hole course with powerlines all over the last 3 holes. The layout is great through, it has a mixture of tight holes and doglegs that require a shaped shot. The par 5 4th is a great hole that is nearly impossible to hit in two because for me as a lefty you have to hit a cut off the tee over the trees around the first dogleg, then a high draw 3 wood around a corner over a hazard. I usually hit driver, layup with a knocked 8, 56w to the pin. I go to hidden creek about twice a week but not to play the course, the driving range and chipping/putting green is really nice.
