Great location, yet extremely overcrowded; Our threesome waited 15 minutes in the clubhouse for an employee to show up [for our Saturday (5:04pm) tee time)], along with 2 other groups. Eventually all 3 groups left and went to play other courses in the area. It appeared that only 2 young men (teenagers) were working and their time was spent managing carts. Moreover, there were 3 additional foursome waiting on the 1st tee box. Don't bother making a tee time as it means absolutely nothing at Knolls!
Since last year, my overall impression of Knolls has definitely increased and has been positive. The courses look better and no one can hold a candle to their customer service! Maybe just make sure that the water coolers are full and available on the course ;)
Very poorly maintained. You're better off teeing it from the fairway than the tee boxes.
