Had a great day on the course. Tee boxes were in good shape and kept clean. Fairways had some opportunity for improvement but you can tell this is a work in progress. Greens were also in pretty good shape. This course is played out very nicely. Make sure you bring all your clubs.

This is bar non the biggest waste of money. The course is all dirt and is unplayable from most fairways . Weeds and barren areas of clay take over this course. They charge $40.00 for this disaster on the weekend. The pace of play is easily a 5 1/2 hour round on weekend morning. I played this morning and the staff member in the pro shop was downright rude and nasty. They lie when they tell you this course has improved. What an embarrassment! One can only imagine how management can look the public in the face.

Olde Liberty is now under new ownership. The greens have been converted to Championship Bermuda greens and are in excellent shape. The fairways have been greatly improved and the overall condition of the course is very good

Only a couple years old, we've already come to the last few days in the life of Olde Liberty. Or so it seems. The course has apparently given up. Colored-stock score cards have been replaced with black and white photocopies. The grounds -- always a mess as they've been trying unsuccessfully to grow grass -- are simply a disaster. They've lost a few of the greens; all of the greens have crabgrass throughout.

It's a shame. Olde Liberty is laid out very nicely. It has championship tees and is a challenging but fair course ... when it's in reasonable shape. But the course is always empty and they can't be making any money -- so they've cut back on everything.

They really need to close shop. It's worth $25 I suppose if you want to get out and swing your clubs for 18 holes in under 3 hours, but for serious golf you're just wasting your time.

Played it this morning and not worth what I paid. At all. This course in 2 years or so is going to be a beautiful course if they can get it to grow in. The layout is awesome. The fairways are horrible with grass clumps everywhere and it is hard as a rock. The rough is nothing but hard clay with patches of grass. The greens roll pretty nice but are super hard. You have to hit the front of the green to get to a pin in the middle. The sand in the bunkers are really nice for this area so that is a plus. I just don't understand why they charge so much for a course that is in such bad shape. Either way the course is GOING to be nice, but it certainly has a long way to go.
