Brevofield is essentially a municipal golf course. It doesn't have a real club house. It doesn't have a driving range. It doesn't use a starter. If you show up with cash or a working credit card, you can head on out to play. It's a very short course that brings out the high handicappers, so be prepared for a long round, too.The other bad parts of Brevofield: it has several parallel holes that are bothersome; it has two par fours that can be driven with 5 woods from the tips; a par 5 that's nothing more than driver/9-iron; and the greens are tall, thick and slow. Really slow.On the plus side ... uh ... well, it's a hacker's paradise. Let's just leave it at that.
The course was nice, no driving range, and NO STARTER. We showed up at 7:45 for an 8:15 tee time and there were 8 groups of 4 at #1. We asked why all the people at start and we were told "they showed up and paid, do you want to play or not?" Very disappointed! Will not go back!
