This course had the most-challenging greens since playing #2. The Pinehurst caddies would tell us to hit to the front of the green as the slopes will kill your shot. It was such a joy to play the Stryker with all the fiendish Donald Ross turtleback greens. All the green complexes were well-maintained and the greens were hard & fast.

The fairways in winter seriously lack grass, but the hole layouts were interesting and let you hit a few draws and fades.

The pro shop staff was super friendly and the shop was well-stocked with merchandise.

Overall, I'll say I want to come back in the summer and take more shots at & on their greens. I love real Donald Ross Greens!
