I played Boone Golf Club on July 5, 2012. Despite a large number of players, the staff did an excellent job of maintaining a good pace of play: 4+00 hrs per round. The pro shop staff was very friendly and helpful as were the Starters and Rangers.

The course was in excellent shape and the green well above average. The were marginally "fast" but in excellent condition and rolled true. The tee boxes, fairways and bunkers (only found one)were in great shape also.

This course has always been enjoyable to play and this year was no exception. This should be at the top of everyone's list for this part of the North Carolina mountains.
