As a visitor to the course for the first time I had no idea for the challenge I was in for. First of all it was very windy which made matters worse. The course is challenging with or w/out the wind.
There are 9 holes but it has a different set of tees for your "back 9". With no knowledge of the course it was simply a round of blind shots and target golf. There are many shots that require a layup or risk getting in trouble with small streams running through the fairways. The yardage is painted on the cartpaths and is on some of the sprinkler heads. I would like to see yardage marker sticks in the fairway to take alot of the guesswork or searching for markers out of your next shot.
The greens are small/medium with alot of slope to them, be careful! Water plays on at least 5 holes.
The 7th, par 3 is quite the knee knocker from the tees. An accurate tee is a must or you are in some big trouble right, left, and over the green. If you miss it, miss it short and hope to stick your approach on the small, sloped green. By far the best hole on the course! This is a must play!!!
