One of my favorites. Course is in great shape and the grounds crew really takes pride in their facility. The staff is very friendly. The scenery is amazing. Overall great course!

Best greens of mpls public courses. Faster greens than much more
expensive public courses. New greens keeper & his staff have done a fantastic job. Fun course we will be back!! Much improved!!!!

I played this course in early June 2010 and it was in pretty good shape for a city course. However, at that time they were working on the irrigation system (hole 6 was not in service that day as they trenched along the fairway). I played again in August and found the overall maintenance to be unfavorable. I am not sure if the irrigation project played a part, but almost all of the greens were void of grass in some areas, mostly on the fringe, but #6 was terrible. We putted on bare ground. I was surprised because we have received more rain than average this summer, especially since July. The fairway was okay, but weedy. I think a $2/$5 discount on green fees for 9/18 would be warranted. I hope that the course recovers next year as it's a beautiful and hilly city course.
