I never knew about this course until this year (2020). Everything this year has been pretty terrible. That is, except this place. LOVE IT. Challenging course, very friendly staff and really affordable. It isn't that wicked premium course like Legacy, but wow for the price I'll play here all the time. Played 45 hole here so far this year and I'll easily end up over 200. There are cheaper courses, but nothing close to the bang for your buck that you get here. PS.. The greens are freaky fast.

My wife and I are traveling by RV. We have played golf in 7 states this summer. This course's management was the worst we have experienced. It is the only round we have played that took more than 5 hours. That is easily explained. There was a group of 10 "gentlemen" that had come to play that afternoon. They left the 1st tee as a twosome followed by 2 foursomes. At he second tee the twosome joined one of the foursomes to make a sixsome. This prompted an immediate complaint to the pro shop. They broke up the sixsome and played the front properly. At the turn all 5 carts were there getting food and course cooler bags full of beer. They left the 10th tee as 3 groups like they had left the 1st tee. On the 11th tee they were back to a sixsome and a foursome. Again we called the pro shop. The person who answered the phone assured us he would break up the sixsome or have them allow us to play thru. Neither happened. After enduring the 5 plus hour round we complained at the pro shop and the only response we received was "Gee I'm sorry. I asked them to break up." Not an acceptable response from a golf course representative. Our recommendation is that if you are traveling like we do, you do not consider this course for play. There are many similar courses in the Monroe area.

the last two times I played, I had problems. the first, the groundkeeper wouldn't move aside to let me hit (he said he could avoid my ball if it was near). the second due to weather they was allowing play on one nine and did not tell me when I made reservation.
