Was very disappointed when playing this course. We had a tee time for 9am and they said we had to go off on the back because they were working on the greens for the front 9. Sure, no problem, doesn't make a difference to me. Except when we made the turn we were only able to play 3 holes before catching up to the guys on the green who would not move for us to take our approach shot. We get to a par 3 (no flag on the green) and they say they'll wait for us before they continue. Awesome! But which side of the green is the hole on? All around disappointed as were many other golfers who had things to do that day. What were you guys doing while we were playing the back 9? I guess we'll never know. Still a very fun course.

I just played this course for the first time in about ten years and I must say I'm disappointed. The fairways and greens are in good shape but the tee boxes are in rough shape. All the fairway bunkers on the front nine are now unkempt waste areas. Not to mention the green side bunkers which have no weeds but have many rocks the size of a fist and consist of hard packed sand. There have been several washouts of the cart paths on the back which has forced the club to fill them with rocks. Tree roots have damaged the carts paths in many areas also. I played this course at the golfnow rate of $17. I wouldn't pay any more than that. Clearly the recession has hurt this course and they’ve cut costs where they can. I hope when the economy recovers Wallinwood Springs will recover also.
