Course has potential to be a destination course, but as it currently plays, it's not. Greens were in great shape - lots of undulations. Clearly the course is in dire need of a drink as fairways are burnt (hasn't rained in quite some time to be fair), and even with a great drive I was often left with hard pan for my approach shot. Lack of irrigation the main culprit. Some tee boxes need attention. Course has a great layout, each hole being unique, and highlights the general aesthetic of the landscape (hills, water, rock). Many holes are right along the water, but yet it's very difficult to see - perhaps clear up underbrush and a few limbs (if legal), and wow, you've got five or six holes with an amazing view. And even imagine if somehow a little "clubhouse" bar would await alongside the water?! I mean, sign me up - water views + golf views = winner winner. Untapped potential here, but a nice round. Would like to play again when hitting off green though.

Very nice course. The front can be a little plain but the back 9 is very tight with some testing greens. Don't need to hit driver on the back but you need to hit the greens in the right spot. The course was in very well maintained shape and the pro is a really good guy to deal with. Province Lake is worth the visit.
