This course can look deceptively easy from the clubhouse but when you hit the hills at #4 & 5 you may be surprised at the challenge. This course is at its best during the Spring and early summer because, as you will note, there are no ponds to use for watering the fairways so they burn out at the first sign of a drought. The hole layout shown in the flyover picture above is very out of date. It hasn't been this way for over 30 years. They have been re-ordered. The course also tends to be very noisy on race days as it is right next to the Salem Motor Speedway.
Nice relaxed course to play. Everyone is friendly and laid back that Ive meet at club house or on the course. Great value for all levels of players. If you havent been you are missing out on a great course.
