Had an early tee time with a buddy of mine. We get out their and a foursome immediately lets us pass (because thats what you're supposed to do right?). We get going and by the 4th hole we end up catching another foursome, who has two walkers with them. Now I know public courses are usually packed and more times than none you will get stuck behind slow players. We said whatever and just kept playing behind them on the front 9. We get to the turn, and politely ask if we can pass so we can pick our speed up. One of the OWNERS was apart of the foursome, and he was a EXTREMELY RUDE to us just because we asked to pass them?!Over and over again he called us "stupid", he continuously said "I could be nice about it but I'm going to be a ****", and after exchanging words for a few minutes, he then told us to go get our money back and to get the hell off the course. Never have I been treated like this anywhere, especially a GOLF COURSE. I am so appalled that the owner would talk to and treat paying customers like this. I can only imagine how he treats his staff or family even!!! The course itself is not in good shape either. Tee boxes are all chunked up, greens have several divots on them, and the fairways have many dirt patches. I would not recommend this course to anyone.
