During a summer heat storm this was one of the only courses that was green! I even played a dryed out Cantigny during this time and also walked the brown fairways at Beverly Country Club. This course was in better shape than courses that cost over $140/round. It only cost $29 on a Wednesday morning. Weekend rates are very reasonable for what your are getting. The staff is always friendly. Another poster complained about a Pro here. I have never had a problem with anyone here. There is a guy named Dave who works in the proshop who is very friendly. I can only guess that someone may have tried to break a rule and Dave corrected him. There isn't even a Pro at this course. I have played here for over ten years and there has never been a Pro there. The course is short but very challenging with tree lined fairways and difficult doglegs. This course is beautiful!
Pro "Dave" is a ridiculously condescending individual. Ruined the experience for our foursome he was so rude.
This course is well maintained. The staff is always friendly. You can get good rates and discounts online. The course is very forgiving and is in a beautiful setting especially in fall. Complaints are lack of water and bad food.
The course was awful! There were dandelions EVERYWHERE and the rough isn't rough it's garbage clover. I hadn't been there in years and I won't go back. I am not usually the guy that comes on these things and complains but I feel that strongly that I will never go there again! It was barely better than working!
