Hazy Hills

Have played this course for this first time twice this summer. Understand they have done a lot of work to the course this year and it shows. First of all, our carts were washed, cleaned, and wiped out for us after paying, plus they ran very well. Just a little touch that often goes unnoticed at some other courses. Everything was mowed up, greens are pretty good for the most part, soft and watered both times we played. A couple have some bare spots on the edge, but pretty good, really. Fairways are wide, and there is no sand traps. Bathrooms are located on the course between #4 and #9 tee areas, water fountain after #6. #4 hole is a tough hole with the pond cutting into the fairway, over the slight hill. Asphalt cart path through the course. Our cost was $27 for 18 and cart. Desigh of some of the holes give this course a little character to it. My buddies and I came back and played it again due to our liking the course, the effort the people gave us in the clubhouse and outside, and the fact it another of these unique country coursess that isn't overpopulated with people playing it all times of the day. Great little course to play!

As I was driving (drunk) through Hudson, IL i stumbled upon this beautiful little course. I quickly realized I belonged when the three-some I was going to play with took off their shirts before teeing off on the first hole.

There arent many rules, as I was able to drive the cart up on the green to take my ball out of the hole. Drinking is encouraged on this course...just dont bring your own beer or you will be in big trouble.

I had a great day; ended up shooting a 12 (-23) and took home a very nice derek jeter poster.
